Dear Alameda Municipal Power,

 

I’ve always been interested in creating positive change within communities.  That’s why I earned a Masters in Social Work in Community Development at the University of Michigan, and later worked as a Community Services Manager for the City of Grand Rapids, MI. That’s also where I learned to create effective communications programs with high community impact at a low cost to the organization.

 

It's especially gratifying to be a force of positive change within my own community — as I currently am in my role as the Marketing, Admissions & Technology Director for Community Learning Center Schools here in Alameda.  

 

To expand this positive impact is why I’m interested in the Senior Communications Specialist position with Alameda Municipal Power. As a leader in the promotion of clean, sustainable and renewable power, AMP is a model for other utility providers, and I would be honored to represent it in the public eye.
